Your right to erasure

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. This is sometimes called the right to erasure, or the right to be forgotten.

We respond to every request within 30 days.

If we cannot delete something, we will tell you exactly what we are keeping and why, in writing, within 30 days. We will still delete anything that is not covered by one of those reasons.

How to ask

Email contactus@triptides.co.uk with Data Deletion Request in the subject line, or call 07415 279368.

Tell us your full name, the email address or phone number you used with us, and what you would like deleted — everything, or just part of it, such as your marketing preferences or an enquiry.

What happens next

There is no charge for this.

Data from Facebook or Instagram ads

If you gave us your details through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, email us with the address or number you used and we will delete it from our systems within 30 days.

Data held by Meta themselves is separate from ours and outside our control — you can request its deletion directly at facebook.com/help/contact/540977946302970.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

If you are unhappy with our response

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator:
