The furthest we send anyone, and the trip that most rewards planning. Get the routing right and the stopovers stop being an inconvenience and become half the holiday.
Twenty-two hours each way changes what a sensible trip looks like.
Two weeks in Australia means four days in transit or recovering, and you'll see one city. Three weeks is the honest minimum — and if that isn't possible we'd rather tell you to do Asia this year and Australia properly another. The second half of the answer is the stopover: almost every route stops in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai or Doha anyway, so breaking the journey for three nights each way costs very little and often nothing, turning one long-haul trip into four destinations.
The routes that make the distance worth it.
Sydney, the reef, Melbourne. Three weeks minimum, two stopovers.
The full version. Three flights out, a beach on the way home.

The natural first stop. Easy, English-speaking, superb food.

Three nights on the way out, and the body clock resets.

The cheaper stopover alternative, an hour from Singapore.

The way home. A beach, no schedule, and you land back rested.

The Emirates routing's stopover. Seven hours, then eleven.
The other Asian break point, and a superb three nights.
One night on the ground per hour in the air. A rough but useful rule.
Not for Australia. Four days of it go to transit and recovery, leaving one city. If three weeks isn't possible, we'd honestly suggest Asia instead.
Frequently less. We price the straight-through fare alongside so you can see the difference rather than take our word for it.
We can build it, though it deserves its own two weeks rather than being bolted on. Ask us and we'll price a combined version honestly.
An ETA, applied for online before departure. Quick and inexpensive, but not issued on arrival.
Guide prices across the region, from a short-haul week to a full circuit.
Twenty-two hours each way. Build in two stopovers.
Four destinations for the price of one punishing journey.

The obvious first stop, and worth four nights.
Under three hours apart, and nothing alike.

The natural second stop on the way home.

The other way round, and the more demanding half.
