The best-value long-haul region we sell, and the one that rewards combining countries. Internal flights are an hour and cost almost nothing.
Nowhere else makes multi-centre travel this cheap or this easy.
Hanoi to Siem Reap is an hour. Singapore to Bali, under three. Bangkok to Chiang Mai, seventy minutes. These flights cost less than a UK train fare, which means adding a second or third country to a South East Asian trip barely moves the total — and the countries genuinely differ. Thailand is Buddhist and set up for visitors; Vietnam is long, thin and best worked north to south; Bali is Hindu and ceremonial; Malaysia is the easiest of all for British travellers.
Single countries and the routes that link them.

Two coasts with opposite seasons. Check which one for your month.

Work north to south — Hanoi, Ha Long, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City.

Split it between Ubud and the coast. That's what makes the trip.
Three nights at Angkor, not the day trip everyone sells.
Duty-free beaches and the best street food in Asia.

Three or four nights, then move on. Small, expensive, superb food.
North to south, then Angkor. Fly home from Siem Reap.
City, mountains, beach. The classic Thai three-centre.
Three countries, two short hops, one flight home.
Thailand or Malaysia. Both are set up for visitors, English is widely spoken, and nothing is difficult.
Comfortably, if they're neighbours. Singapore, Malaysia and Bali, or Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. The hops are short.
November to March suits Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. April to October suits Bali and Malaysia's west coast. There's no single regional season.
Thailand and Malaysia, no, for short stays. Vietnam needs an e-visa in advance, Cambodia an e-visa or visa on arrival, Indonesia a visa on arrival. We flag every deadline.
Guide prices across the region, from a short-haul week to a full circuit.

Two coasts with opposite seasons, so one is always right.

Split it between Ubud and the coast.
Two countries, and Angkor properly explained.
City, mountains and beach for the price of a Med week.
The easiest country in Asia for British travellers.
Under three hours apart, and nothing alike.
Guide prices, per person, based on two sharing, including return flights, accommodation and transfers. They indicate what a holiday of this type has typically cost and are not an offer or a quotation. Your price depends on dates, party, board basis, departure airport and availability, and is confirmed in writing before any payment is taken.
