Honeymoons

Almost every honeymoon we book is a two-centre, and there's a good reason. After a wedding you want somewhere easy first and somewhere quiet second.

City then beach, and put the beach second

The week after a wedding is not the week to be navigating a new country on four hours' sleep.

Three or four nights somewhere straightforward — Dubai, Singapore, Cape Town — lets you decompress while still doing something. Then the beach half, where nothing is expected of you. Doing it the other way round means starting flat on your back and finishing with a city and a long flight, which is the wrong shape. The other thing worth knowing: tell the hotel it's your honeymoon at booking, not on arrival. Upgrades and extras are discretionary and they're allocated in advance.

Questions people ask

How long should a honeymoon be?

Ten to fourteen nights for a two-centre. Under ten and the second leg feels rushed once you account for the flights.

Do we have to do two centres?

No. Plenty of people want one island and no movement at all, and the Maldives or Mauritius do that beautifully. We just find most couples prefer the contrast.

Can we spread the cost?

Yes — deposits start low and we write the payment plan out in full before you commit, with dates you can plan around.

What if we're travelling straight after the wedding?

Then keep the first leg easy — a short flight or an overnight, and somewhere that needs no navigation. We'd build the itinerary around that.

Honeymoons, city first and beach second

The order matters — arrive tired, sightsee first, then stop moving.

Guide prices, per person, based on two sharing, including return flights, accommodation and transfers where stated. They indicate what a holiday of this type has typically cost and are not an offer or a quotation. Your price depends on dates, party, board basis, departure airport and availability, and is confirmed in writing before any payment is taken.
